Even if he is clinically insane, He should still receive the death penalty for the horrific act he committed!

Killing him will only give him what he wants. He deserves a life of punishment although, if he is proven insane he will spend the next ten to fifteen years in a nursing home getting everything he needs.

" ... a 25 year old male ALLEGED to have gone on a stabbing spree . . ." Oh please, give us a break! We all saw his face on TV as the police held him down. What the heck has the use of the word "alleged" got to do with this?

He was smart enough to plan this out. He was smart enough to drive all the way to Fukui and buy six knives. He was smart enough to hire a truck. He knew why he was buying the knives and why he wanted the truck.

    Insane? Yes. Mentally incompetent? NO!!

He should should rot for the rest of his life.. not a simple short drop and sudden stop.
