    Who waould want to be in court in Japan with its notorious high conviction rates and corrupt police.

    Japan, time to follow the US where justice uis fair and all are treated equally whatever their means.

    He might be pre-empting any attacks by later posters by comparing Japan to one of the worst offenders of human rights in history. Still that guy did NOT apologise as far as I see in the article. He only feels sorry FOR him. Still no apology.

    What a terrible burden this man had to carry, knowing he was innocent for the past 17 years. I can't even imagine how he must feel..........
