Repeat sexual offender held for abducting, molesting 9-year-old boy in car

Police on Tuesday arrested a 57-year-old man for abducting a 9-year-old boy and sexually molesting him in his car in Iruma City, Saitama Prefecture. The victim was released about one hour later, police said.

Yutaka Tajima, 57, was arrested for allegedly abducting the victim who was playing at a park with his friends around 9:45 a.m. Police said Tajima talked the boy into going with him. Tajima drove off and allegedly assaulted the boy in his car for about hour, before returning him to the same park.

Tajima was arrested later in the day after the boy’s friends told police the registration number of his car. Tajima was quoted by police as saying, “I love boys because adult women don’t care for me at all. I couldn’t control my sexual urges.”

Police say Tajima had been arrested once before for sexually molesting boys. He was released from jail last October.

the boy must be in trauma now. a lot of awful things might have happened to him within that 1 hour especially he's with this child maniac. i hope he gets proper psychological treatment so that he will not carry this experience with him when he grows up.

good thing his friends are smart enough to be able to memorize and tell the plate number of the car.

Yes, it happens in other countries. But this happened in Japan so we're talking 'bout what happens in Japan; odd that, don't you think?

I've read pedophile talking about their 'urges' and many of them have said there is no cure short of cutting things off or killing. These are pedophiles, mind you, not psychiatrists. Perhaps this particular 57-year-old needs to spend about 43 years in prison.

I just feel so sorry for this child having to endure what must surely have been painful and mentally torturing. It's bad enough that this happens to adults but to children it is even more sad. He will have to live with this for a longer period of time and most certainly be dysfunctional.

For this to be his first sexual experience I wonder later in life; how many of these boys find themselves attracted to boys or don't find women satisfying and don't underrstand why whhen an attrocity like this has happened to them. I hope this doesn't happen to him. Life is already too complicated.

oh man, if that was my kid there would be a sudden and violent uncontrollable urge to bring hell to this guy. I bet the boys father is ferocious inside. poor kid. sex offenders need to have a surgically implanted chip in the monitoring their every breath and step and collecting data on their every urge. the sooner this happens, the better.
