Police in Shiogama, Miyagi Prefecture, are investigating an incident in which a small rock was thrown through the glass door of a train on the night of July 2.
A train on the JR Sengoku Line was just starting to leave Nishi-Shiogama Station at around 8:30 p.m. when someone threw a rock through one of the glass doors and into the carriage, NTV reported. There were about 60 passengers on the train but no one was injured. Train services were delayed for about 50 minutes.
According to police, the rock was 8 centimeters by 6 centimeters, and it was thrown from the other side of the platform where the train stopped.
Police have appealed for help from anyone who might have seen the culprit and are also examining surveillance camera footage

The glass on trains should be tempered safety glass,no ? passenger safety & not cost should be # one at all times!
