This is racism and discrimination I tell you! How dare they give this man 16 years and the other japanese guy "only" 10 years. He should only have gotten probation at worst because ethnic Koreans suffer so much racism in Japan. Or something.
16 years?? Ridiculous. Financial crimes are always much more heavily punished than crimes against the person or murder. If he had raped the museum worker he'd have got at most 4 years and told he was virile. Even a murder wouldn't get 16 years. Just shows that cash is god in our world.
Remember, this is for two robberies. It seems that one he committed on his own?
The involvement with the J-guy was for one robbery only it would seem.
Even so, the sentences seem rather severe for robbery. Who says feudalism ended? Rob the rich and get served hard. Kill a serf and get a slap on the wrist.

16 years?
Wow, that's more than a drug sentence in America. Wonder why he was unemployed, though.

If only he'd legally invested in gold back in October 2006, he could have been retired in the Bahamas by now.
Gold just keeps going up up up!

Come on, Expat's thread is pretty good. Long lived, at the very least.
No love for Nagoya ALT firms? lol.
