"you don't chop the head off a golden-goose" = Noriko Sakai is the police's golden goose, their poster child for their crackdown on illegal drug use. They and the media will draw this out as much as they can until another poster child comes along that is better. In the meantime many glue sniffers and mushroom eaters are probably seeking rehab.
fair warning though - months ahead of time they were talking of a crackdown. Makes one wonder how many of these illegal drug users are on police file. I would go after a foreigner next = they may be looking at your picture right now and wondering how you compare to the others.
Make no mistake about it --> Sakai was a very good pick, a golden goose.
Drugs and the general terminolgy that gets thrown around by the public is so annoying. Speed, I would line up in the drug department with cough medicines, panadol, morphine, and the chemically manufactured type. So there is a bunch of people here who have no idea what they are talking about. Addiction does not have to be a drug-it could be the computor even.
Sakai though should admit that a good mother has hips and boobs to match, that only a mother could have-something that while taking speed is not going to happen, we all know how the weight drops off with speed-, a woman, a man's woman, with a hour-glassed figure, cuddly figure, could have; and not the 10yo body shape that she promotes and has been promoting, and looks sick, anorexic and I would aline with cancer patients. She should say that she is hoping for this style of body, she should try to be this, and then come out and show us how she is beyond the addiction, show us that she still isnt a sucker/addicted to that image?
(Dont any of you presume that I am overweight here now, cause we know you are the ones with the problem)

I can't speak for glue (although I've heard thinner is the preferred "sniffant" in Japan), but psilocybin mushrooms (or magic mushrooms as you may call them) have no addictive components and I have never heard of anyone seeking rehab for mushrooms. If you really knew anything about psychedelics then you'd know that mushrooms have been used in the past to treat substance addiction as well as depression among other things. This is what I mean when I talk about using blanket statements like "drugs" and the ignorance that comes with it.
18 months for possessing 0.008 gram of a synthetic drug. No previous and she is not a dealer. They want to give Oshio the same (18 months) and he also had a dead body in his apartment and he lied to the cops (unlike Sakai who admitted to everything). Witch hunt.
Cry when I take away your (shrooms)? -accept it you have an addiction. You are only one step behind Sakai. (take a look at the poster child again = it's you)
Some how I hear many livers and kidnies screaming,
"Hey, look at the damage done to us. Booze is dangerous too."
Yet, puking, alcoholic salarymen are given a free ride here, but this poor woman is crucified. Our tax money goes to treat every alcoholic with kidney stones, liver stones, and cirrohsis, and they did this damage to themselves, with their own free will.
Give this a rest, this woman is much safer to be around than the drunken salarymen I ride the Hyugo-Kirishima line with each night in Miyazaki. And I'm sure she doesn't puke all over the station when she arrives.
6,615 people find pleasure in watching someone famous in trouble, whether they support her or think she should be put away in a cell. Calling less attention to this and letting the couple get on with their lives seems like a better idea. This story has dragged on for a long time...isn't it time to drop it?

Wow. In this statement you have succeeded in both making an assumptive judgement call about me, and shown your ignorance regarding psychotropic substances. First of all, it was certainly not you who took away anything from me. Second, I expressed regret that shrooms were made illegal. The same way I would be sad if somebody stole my Wii. Just because you miss something hardly means you are addicted to it.
Psilocybin and amphetamines are two very different substances that have completely different effects and I would suggest you do a bit more studying before speaking again. Knowledge is power (I learned that from Mortal Kombat 3).

Okay lets get a grip. 1.5 years for drug use. The prisons are over crowded as it is. She should be made to do community service & drug treatment.
