Maybe his father should have took him ice skating or fishing. Or maybe his family should have said, " Are you ok son ? Do you want to talk ? "

If his family hugged him this wouldn't have happened.

He just bottled up his emotions, and turned to revenge in the worse way. Call me the street Psychologist. But a hug could have saved this kid. Many parents just don't communicate to their kids well. Very sad story. He could have found a cure for diseases and use his skills in a useful way.

Ignore the mental health of a nation and this is what you get. Think about it.

From children who don't get proper attention from their parents, to young girls thinking kabakura and hostess jobs are attractive, to salary guys checking porn on the train and just about everyone drinking more alcohol a night than most people I know outside Japan drink in a week.

This country has a major mental health crisis and no structure or societal value to deal with it.

    It is scary!

Even in the USA where they are more open, the stigma of mental illness is still a big one so I can imagine in a culture as reserved as Japan's it must be very difficult for people to talk about their troubles. I hope that changes, especially for the sake of the young children.

The bomb was not completed at the time of his arrest, but it was actually possible for him to make a lethal bomb by using the seized materials, police said.

The bomb had not been completed by the time of his arrest, but it would have been possible for him to make a lethal bomb by using the seized materials, police said.

    OR

The bomb was not complete by the time of his arrest, but it would have been possible for him to make a lethal bomb by using the seized materials, police said.

What's the difference between "possible" and "actually possible"?
