    The Japanese should hand out similar sentences to its own kind for corruption which may go a considerable way to reducing the problem that japan suffers from on all levels with people getting back handers.

    Handing out suspended sentences and slaps on the wrist do nothing to stem the tide of corrupt practices.

    @ExportExpert: agreed. Japan should stop manufacturing and exporting corruption.

    Japan could never stop this practice, it's part of the "Japanese business model". If they jailed everyone who took money there'd only be a few people left outside the prison walls!
