People like this make life difficult for the rest of us... grrrrrrrrr
At least the owner has broken the law regarding firearms, so the Police will not have to make up some further law to show that they are making life safer and better for everyone. They can charge him under the Juho-Token Ho Law. (Act for the Control of the Possession etc., of Firearms & Swords.)
Lock your car, stupid.

Not only gun but cash was also stolen. Do Japanese drivers believe into car keys? If they don't than they wouldn't lock up cars. How stupid can you be to have in a car, shotgun, ammunition and cash and just leave it on display for thieves? Is there a connection with mentioned incident? Perhaps we will find out in about eight years from now. I’m smarter; I use my finger instead of keys…ever heard of this?

The places are very close to each other. Could very possibly be related. First suspicion is anyone who knows both men.
I would be on the alert if I lived near there though.
