    There has always been an urge to price fix commoditized computer components. The only surprising part is that they get caught (i.e. leave enough evidence for prosecution). From DRAM, LCDs, [CD,DVD]ROM drives, printer cartridges, etc. And that's only where it was egregious enough and long enough it was detected and proven.
