It's gonna be a tough one for the defendant. They won't just buy that excuse even if you were telling the truth.

I'd surely walk strange with additional 1.2kg in my shoes - might even get suspicious.

Orquin Mompo Fernando is one very fit, muscular man if he could not feel the weight of 1.2 kg stimulants in his shoes. Must be an athlete and a big man. But I heard Spanish men are not so big.

Sorry to spoil the fun but I should imagine that the shoes were not actually being worn at the time of arrival. By the way being extra pedantic about this he is Basque not really Spanish. Which to my way of thinking simply means he is even more likely to be guilty. Fine, I’m a racist bigot, but then I know Spain and the Basques so have reason.

'the first defendant to plead not guilty to all charges in a jury trial': In other words, they couldn't beat or intimidate a confession of him. Well, good for him. Everyone deserves a fair trial.

1.2kg and he did not noticed? - yaaaah right..- lock him good and throw the key away for 10 or so years...
