I wish they had courses like that in Japan. My pops had to go through that type of stuff. So, yeah, kids can take adult punches really well.
The next problem then is making the kid aware that it is not ok to do it when he grows up, because this is all learned. If you don't come from a home where the father is the bread winner and he is taken away, I am not going to tell you not to comment, but it is very hard.
Other than that, I do not know if the father really cares about him or not. I have met people like that, where the father cares, but does not get help and I have met fathers that just do not care. It takes a man to get help, but it takes society to put it out there for him to get help and Japan needs help.
Now, not all kids take punches well. I better clear that one up. Dad never hit my sister. He sure beat the crap out of me and my brother though. And no, I am not talking belting, I am talking full grown punches.
Again, with my dad, it was learned. He got it way worse than me and my grandfather before him.
Me and my dad went to counseling and man it took forever. Still hard to forgive him, but I got to use that to make me a better person and hopefully one day, a father.
Maybe some of you will read this and think that I might not be able too, but my dad straightened up and I know other parents that have too. But like I said, it takes a man to get help.
I think I already know the outcome of this scenario if the the pops dont get his act together; the son will grow to hate the father with all his heart and will most likely punish his father in a horrific way. Karma is a mutha.
sageb1-that is not necessarily true. It definitely makes you more volatile. If it were, I would of been kicked out of the military a long time ago. Learning how to hold back is something I learned becuase I did not want to get hit.
I will agree that they all suffer from an improper upbringing though. Not that mine is anything to brag about, but then again, I am not out hitting people...just turning eyes on JT.
Sagb1- I agree with you, this situation is the perfect breeding ground for a child to become an aggressor and/or emotionally tormented. But the beauty of life is that we are able to make changes to offset most of the things we experience. I am hoping by the time this child gets into his teens there will be venues for individuals that have been assaulted, to help deal with the emotions that spawn from such events. I also hope that many Japanese people will become more expressive of their emotions so they can help ease the turnmoil within. Holding in your frustrations is what causes people to do sh!t like push old women off the platform of a train station or wipe your spit on beautiful women's coats while they are sleeping to make them feel ugly, and so on.

Who cares what he said to daddy?! Nothing justifies punching a child - nothing.

Whats this? Another "grown man" assaulting someone that is not able to defend themselves.

this story is related to the stories of a young adult male assaulting a train conduction and of another male assaulting an older woman.
getting physically abused as a kid does lead young men to think it's ok to assault other people for getting in their face.

what is the relivance of the guy working for the tax department have to do with this case, why is there a need to report the occupation.
This guy is just another abusive father picking on a defencless person, who just happens to be his own son.
What a coward!!! next time take on someone your own size.
samsarks your just as sick as the father in this case.
Saying the word BAKA is NO reason to phyically to beat up your own son, especially a 6 year old son (Did you notice the boy needed hospital treatment)
Even if he did say a word like Baka the father should have know better.
I`m now sure whatever repect he had for his father is long gone now.
