He told the boy to close his eyes and sit down, saying that he would give him a psychological test. He then beat him to death, knocking out two of his teeth in the process, and kicked his body into the river, they said.

Who gave birth to this evil boy?

17-yr-old youth says he killed teenage boy over girlfriend

The teenage boy's life is over. The 17-yr-old youth's life is pretty much over too. And he achieved nothing, except satisfaction of a diseased mind.

An autopsy showed Okubo died of a brain contusion, police said.

  • HonestDictator at 05:05 AM JST - 14th June

Good old teens, always malfunctioning in the brain. The 17yr old needs it to be hammered in his head "Killing is BAD, You're not supposed to do it without just cause, not because you don't like someone"

I'm not too sure how Japanese criminal records work but if this is on a permanent record then he's got the joy of being a felon for life even at his age. Good parents can't raise perfect teenagers, but it sounds like this kids parents didn't even try.

Don't know the parents (or if this kid even lives with them) so I'm not going to pontificate on what they did or didn't teach this guy.

He tries to justify killing the kid because he "could not forgive the boy for making the girl unhappy", but instead it sounds like he did it to get a competitor out of the way for the girl's affections.

Amazed to see that so many posters want to respond to the murder of a child with the murder of another child. The killings in this case must stop here. This boy knew he was doing the wrong thing, he knows about the death sentence and this didnt stop him. These kind of things go back to time immemorial - Kane killed Abel even. An awful situation, yes - but lets not blow a fuse here. Civilised adults deal with things in a civilised manner. May the victims in this case find peace.

wow, the Japanese do have a kill switch in them! I wonder if he even got to get with the girl before he was arrested? I knew something was going to be crazy about this story when I read the first new clip.

  • ChuckDosSantos at 02:07 PM JST - 15th June

The suspect asked Okubo to come talk about his girlfriend and they met up at around 7:30 p.m. Thursday at a train station before the suspect took him to the river area on his bicycle, according to police.

He told the boy to close his eyes and sit down, saying that he would give him a psychological test.

Wow....what an idiot. Im picturing this now....Ok close your eyes Im going to give you a test but why do you have a hammer and a bat?? dont worry its part of the test. Just close your eyes!!

It was not because of his eyes being closed that he didnt see this one coming...I guess they should have a class on common sense. I can be the first instructor if they need it!

  • ALHQQ at 02:28 PM JST - 17th June
