I think the thieves may find themselves a little disappointed with their booty.

The thieves were merely trying to help Japan's falling birthrate. If those condoms had reached Japan, God only knows how many children would have been prevented from being conceived.

Looks like the thieves will never have to buy protection again.

The thieves were merely trying to help Japan's falling birthrate.

...and they could do more good by sending them to China. Kill 2 birds....

Sagami's main product line in Japan for the past several years has been ultra-thin condoms made of synthetic silicone materials. But the natural latex used in the stolen condoms can be easily reprocessed into other goods, such as toys, etc. There has been a surge in the prices of commodities recently. This may be an indication that rubber inflation is imminent.

For export to Japan? No-one uses them there. This has to be an insurance scam.

There will be a lot of babies made this weekend here in Japan.

The company described the Jan 26 theft as “unfortunate”

Guess it's best to let bad news like that go in one ear and out the rubber.

goddog -- Really? What will make this weekend different than any other in Japan? Since over 35% of the young-men have no interest in sex, and 40% of married couples have sex less than once a month, this was probably a year's supply for the market.

This story is worth making a movie. I really hope to hear follow-ups on that one.

With that profit, the thief can by a condominium.

Wearing raincoats over their bullet proof vests, the "robbers" were slippery, well protected, and very flexible. They bagged their load, put a sock on all police attempts to frustrate their well lubricated plan. And by "police" I do mean, yes, the Malaysian dick.

    Swol... FollenSwanny,

Sagami may pull out of Malaysia, but I hope not prematurely, not before seeding a growing market over there.

    nandakandamanda

Well, if they get stopped at customs with that lot, they can say it's for personal use.

Not sure, it sounds like the robbers could be planning to go into hiding during Spring Break in Acapoulco....

  • 0

    mrjack

I bet they thought they were stealing something else, imagine thier horror when they opened a few boxes.
