Being former life insurance company employee she will be either acquitted or get suspended sentence.

Gees, you'd think she'd come up with a credible excuse as to how the arsenic got in the curry. "I thought it was seasoning." It is a little unusual for a Japanese loon to insist on being not guilty. They'll usually make an admission to get a more lenient sentence and a pitifully pathetic excuse of being drunk or peed off with their job. Possibly, very possibly, she is not guilty.

Ding dong. Is this still going on? For three to five years after this happened the TV showed nothing but this awful case. Of course I feel for the victims, but it really should end soon.

There is a lot missing from this story, she has admitted trying to poison her husband with arsenic on previous occasions. So is not like something she would neer think of.

According to the findings of the court the arsenic found at Masumi's home is identical to that which was used for lacing the curry stew which killed 4 people. Her death sentence is based on this point alone which in my opinion is not enough to send her to the gallows. It is possible that Masumi has been framed by someone who may have stolen the arsenic from her home and used it at the community summer festival. It is suggested that the concerned authorities re-consider the case and find the real culprit. In the meantime Masumi Hayashi should be given the benefit of the doubt and set free immediately.Farakh Malik

They should force-feed her curry laced with arsenic as a death sentence.
