Two men wearing Spider-Man masks assault pedestrians in Osaka

OSAKA —

Two men wearing Spider-Man masks on Sunday night attacked pedestrians in Sakai, Osaka, police said Monday. Four similar cases were reported and two people suffered minor facial injuries while trying to fight off the thieves, police said.

According to police investigations, the two suspects, brandishing iron bars, assaulted a 62-year-old motorcyclist, and stole 2,000 yen around 9:30 p.m. Sunday. The pair assaulted three other men, aged 22, 37, and 55, later but failed to get away with any money.

What sort of masks were they wearing? Would that be 'Balaclava.?' Perhaps images of Beatles? Spider-man? Superman would come handy to follow those two scumbags. They must be fast as 'Speedy Gonzales or Road Runner.'
