Two women stabbed to death at real estate agency in Hiroshima Pref
HIROSHIMA —
Two women were stabbed to death and one man was seriously injured after a man burst into a real estate agency in Mihara, Hiroshima Prefecture, late on Wednesday afternoon, police said. The dead women were aged 78 and 63. The third victim, aged 71, ran the real estate agency with the 78-year-old woman, police said.
The suspect, a 36-year-old man, is believed to be the son of the dead 63-year-old woman who was a client of the real estate agency, Fuji TV reported Wednesday night. According to police, the man came into the office at 5:50 p.m. and started yelling. There were about six people in the office at the time. One staff member left the office and alerted police.
When police arrived, the suspect had stabbed himself in the abdomen with one of two knives that he brought, according to Fuji TV. Police said he is in a stable condition in hospital and will undergo a psychiatric examination.

Sad news. Maybe his son has a money problem and snapped. Hiroshima area has been hit hard by the current economic downturn and many people have lost jobs and they are having the stress over lack of money.

My guess is mom was selling the house, and son was going to be left out on the street. At least that would make a good story. I have no idea what happened, but to stab your own mom is pretty bad. (if that's in fact what their relationship is).
Once again though, a full fledged and successful attempt to kill somebody else, then a half arsed attempt to kill yourself.

Hiroshima hard hit?!?!?! Get real. Mihara is not downtown Hiroshima-it's an area that has been spoilt for too long. And nobody willing to change much, or humble themselves. Definitely more to it-what nationality were they? Anybody know.
