MIYAZAKI —

Police on Tuesday arrested a 23-year-old woman for assaulting a female taxi driver in her 60s in Miyazaki City.

Yoko Mori was arrested for allegedly beating the taxi driver in front of her house around 9:30 a.m. Police said Mori told the taxi driver to wait so she could go inside to get enough money to pay the 1,500-yen fare, but the taxi driver refused. Mori then punched driver in the face and kicked her when they got out of the taxi. Police said Mori was drunk at the time.

Why did the driver refuse to wait? If Yoko had no money then the best option would be to trust her to go and get sum. Hell, the driver should be arrested and Yoko promoted to Japans Diplomatic corp

Miyazaki coming into the limelight on female crime. A 60 year old woman cab driver won't wait while her fare goes into the house to get 1500 yen to pay so the 23 year old drunk at 9;30 am kicks the s*** out of her and a 43 year old virtual game player kills off her vitual ex. What are they drinking in Miyazaki??

Hell, the driver should be arrested and Yoko promoted to Japans Diplomatic corp

I would suggest that Yoko should be promoted to Japanese Judo, japanese women won many medals in Beijing Olympics.

I think it should be mentioned, that Yoki Mori, 23, is unemployed.

    That is all.

I would suggest that the nasty little bitch is made to pay suitable compensation and then spends 3 months in the slammer to learn some manners.

Laying your hands on an individual who does not want you too is assault. Don't believe me? Try it sometimes.

Shame on Mori of being drunk. Most probably she want to get some more booze. I wonder if the driver was a man, what he will do nwith Mori? Will he just stand there taking all the pouches or will he run her over. 'some14some,' I like your comment. Someone is saying; 'sorry but a punch and a kick is not assaulting'... are you serious, is it blessing from the sky?

9.30am, drunk, unemployed...altogether a classy girl this one, maybe she will get a job with her new criminal record. Parents, kick em out at 18 and dont give them cash, cruel to be kind!

sorry but a punch and a kick is not assaulting.

Any unwanted touching is assault, that is why assault and assult casuing bodily harm(or assult and battery) are two different charges.

There's that name again; Yoko Mori. I had a sweetie by that name in 1950. She would never have done such a thing. She would be pushing 80 by now. There is a novelist by the same name. Also, a prof in some university.

This one could give a bad reputation to the Yoko Moris of Japan.

MeanRingo - Yeah, it does sound like something you'd see on Jerry Springer. But she was drunk at the time which will excuse her actions I'm sure.

Sorry i don't punch people. except if they punch me before.

and for me the violence is not a solution.

    to Okinawamike and BBLeo

maybe if i punch a taxi driver and kick her or him. it can be assaulting and the driver can be injuried. but last time that i received a punch from a drunked girl she injuried himself.

but in all case this girl is bad. 1st she grabed a taxi without money, 2nd she used violence against the driver.
