saying her cell phone bills were too high and demanding she make money through prostitution.

    That is what THEY say.

And naturally they got just enough and used all the money to pay for the cell phone bills.

People who sell their daughters into prostitution NEVER lie.

No one forces you to do something. This person should have gone straight to the police. What she did is illegal, and prison time is in proper order.

    ????

You need to step out into the real world sometime. There are lots of ways to convince people do things against their better judgement, or use their circumstances as leverage to get them to do something. Or threaten them so they act. Or beat them. The short-hand for that is "to force".

This got started when she was just 15. All the easier to do the above.

not if she was not disclosing some of her income to her parents and buying up brands in her spare time. she may have been enjoying the cash.

The parents should be hauled off and the daughter re-educated and given a decent home.

Oh this is the funniest crap I have read in a while!!!

Girl in her age would understand what is right or wrong, and she should report it to police. Sure her mother has no rights to force her into sex with others for money. What I would like to know; 'Are girls parents working people or just living with the money that girl brought home from her sexism?

BBLeo, how can a 15 y.o. girl report her pimping parents to the police? First of all she must feel some loyalty and love towards her parents simply b/c they are her parents. It may be a love/hate relationship but I dont think reporting parents is that easy for any kid even one being abused. For one, if she reported her parents she must wonder what would happen to her and second what child wants to bear the burden of knowing they sent their parents to prison? Also who wants to bear the shame of having this sort of a story on the front page news? Emotionally it just isnt that clear cut and easy. Second, they were her pimps and pimps usually threaten &/or beat their prostitutes which is why there are so many sex slaves throughout the world, they dont report their pimps because they are too afraid. Im sure these parents must have either put a guilt trip, lies, or threats on their daughter to keep her quiet.

Thank you paisley. I might also ask why she should trust the police to do anything helpful for her. They do not have a good record for taking care of prostitutes, forced or not.

Few females if any enjoy prostitution. But I think most would probably agree it beats being homeless. Many might also think it beats being bounced around in foster homes.

Sexual exposure of young girls seem to be the norm in Japan. I don't think the police would really care much about prostitutes. These psycho parents of the young girls pimped her for money other than just cell phone bills.

In Japan? They will laugh at her as usual they do. This is why sex abused women don@t report anything. Common! This is shame culture.

You should draw a line between "prostitution" and "survival sex".

The ones who do it to pay off their house faster or put themselves through university have a choice and I would say they would choose not to do it if they did not enjoy it. Therefore, if they do it, I am saying that they probably enjoy it a little or at least don't hate it.

It's irrelevant whether a woman "enjoys" her work as a prostitute. The real issue is coercion and not all are coerced into prostitution. I certainly don't enjoy my work as an English whore. That doesn't mean I'm coerced.

Not that the method was right, but they were right in forcing the girl to work - just the wrong job. The schools should not disallow their students from working - they SHOULD work. Maybe then these underage prostitution cases would vanish.

The parents should be locked up! They are nut cases.

  • HonestDictator at 08:00 AM JST - 30th December

Oh man, can you say decay of society? Without some kind of morality/value training you get plenty of cases like these. Pretty sad when there are no values or at least respect for others being hammered into childrens minds.

Overall this is really sickening. I'm guessing that the girl was already pretty promiscuous and the parents just said "wtf ever". But still, proper parents would just easily either cut off the kids cell, or take it out of their allowance and have them get a mcjob or something during the summer time.

The woman was convicted of conspiring with her 47-year-old husband

So what happened to the Husband...? Did he walk...? They conveniently leave out what happened to the husband... If he's to be sentenced later, it would have been helpful to know...

You really have to wonder who is doing the reporting, that they fail to ask enough relevant questions... Was he involved OR Not, if so they should have some mention of what happened to him... Or leave him completely out of the story.

I understand JT just copies this stuff, so as to avoid any and all responsibility for the stories, but if they were working for a real person, their mediocre at best reporting, or failure to hold their sources to a higher standard, would quickly put them out of business.... And just might...
