Oh wait, they seem to be congregating on this board! Hang. Her. GUILTY as charged!

I just wish some of the posters on this forum would do a little research before making fools of themselves on line. Her husband was a exterminator and used the arsenic for killing rats, they had kilos of the poison at her home, not just a trace (it has nothing to do with American ants, Korean ants or Chinese ants). She had a grudge against the local neighborhood biddies beacuse they were mean to her. She admitted using the same substance to try to kill her husband for insurance money (more than once). A preponderance of evidance!!

Thank you techall. A lot of people here are trying to call black white. Even the husband admitted freely that she had poisoned him for the insurance money, but he seems to have been besotted by her. A very, very manipulative woman.

I was also not too far from Wakayama when this happened. She's guilty as sin and nuts besides. I was just about to mention the insurance but noticed that Nandakandamanda beat me to the punch line.

Why are jokes about Jonestown never told? Because the punch line is always too long.

This thing is Guilty as hell. I don't want to see her walk. I want to see her beg and be lynched by victims families. So let her walk and I hope vigilante justice will take her down.

her daughter is going to be married soon (she has a fiance) and this woman said she didn't want her daughter to be a criminal's daughter... i somehow believe that this woman is guilty but as a mother, she probably doesn't want to make her daughter a child of a criminal --- selfish ? yes, but understandable.

Fishy that's no reason to let her get away with murder though.

bushlover -- i know, crime is crime, she's gotta take responsibility for what she's done, tell the truth..

Your willingless to lash out at pretty much anyone, regardless of reasonable doubt, is one of the big problems in this case; there is no direct evidence, and no motive. Relatives of the victims simply want blood, as you do, and the law had to provide it or face the kind of mob mentality you are advocating themselves. If the woman did it, she should pay (I don't agree with the death penalty, but a few life sentences would be in order), but MAKE SURE beyond a reasonable doubt it was she who did it FIRST! There is plenty of reason to doubt that she is the perpetrator.

Plenty of reason? Just like Miura's case? Like what for example? Her attempting poisoning her own husband for insurance money? What other doubts linger in your mind?

  • bushlover at 07:28 AM JST - 24th July

[and no motive] -- she had a grudge against the neighbors and was left alone with the pot. Same arsenic as from her home. She tried doing it to her husband for insurance money. I see lots of evidence. I don't need to invent doubt to let a murderer walk. You keep on defending murderers Smith. You'll make friends. With murderers.

techal-san, You need to use some reasoning before making a fool of yourself online. When you are dealing with legal matters, try to put aside your emotions and deal with the evidence at hand. Whether the arsenic was for rats or ants is not the point here. Death sentences need to have concrete evidence linking the accused to the said murder. The law does not deal with rumors. Having grudges with neighbors or admitting having tried to kill her husband just gives some information on her character but that cannot be taken to be a concrete evidence linking her with the curry. Man you do not know how innocent people are forced to make false confessions in some parts of the world. Even DNA evidence has proven to be wrong (remember the headlines a month ago?). There was a similar kind of case in NYC a few years ago where a woman was found murdered near some guy's house. When the guy's house was searched, a blood stained shirt and a book titled "Men who hate women and the women who love them" were found. DNA testing showed that the blood was from some animal (may be slaughtered chicken) but that was well after so many publications and forum bastards had sentenced this guy to death. At least give her life and turn it to death when concrete evidence is found. Many of us do not know what it means to be executed when you are innocent
