Woman slashed in Shibuya building
TOKYO —
A woman was slashed in her apartment building in Shibuya on Friday, after police received a report of a man brandishing a knife in the Dogenzaka area.
Police said they got a call about 7 a.m., saying that a man with a knife had been on the street and that he had gone into a nearby apartment building. When they arrived, police found a woman bleeding from her brow in a 5th floor hallway. According to reports, the woman, in her 20s, had been cut on her forehead and back. She was rushed to the hospital and is in good condition, but was unable to give a description of her attacker.

Bummer about a scar on the face of a woman in her 20's. I guess we are all lucky that guns aren't available for these cowardly nutters. Hope the police don't close the case because she couldn't describe him. They should ask the people who reported seeing him go into the building...

Hope that cops nab him before the next victim. I wonder what is his motive to attack this girl? A full scale investigatiopn should be going on. Was he a friend of the victim? We will have to wait for full story until cops have their final nab.

At what time was she attacked? I'd be curious to know the response time of the police. Anyway, glad she's okay, and hope they catch this nut. There are far too many stabbing/slashing instances occuring of late (not that one is not 'too many', it is, but you get my drift).

Could be time for the government to supply everyone with those slash-proof T-shirts. It's not as if they are doing anything to stop these nutters so they should at least take measures to protect the public.
