Woman stabbed on Osaka street
OSAKA —
Police are looking for a man who stabbed a woman twice and then fled in a quiet residential area in Ikuno Ward, near JR Osaka Kanjo line’s Teradacho Station on Sunday night.
Police said the attack happened around 9 p.m. The victim, a company employee, 28, was stabbed twice in the left arm as she attempted to get into her car, parked at the side of the road. Her injuries are not life-threatening, police said.
According to the victim’s testimony, the assailant, who was clad all in black and wearing a black hat, didn’t say a word to her. She told police that she has never met him before and can think of no reason why she was targeted.

I must be the only schmuck here who has been stabbed near fatal on the street for no reason and never thought it would happen. My guess he was her stalker and they are a dime a dozen here. My other guess is she is probably a cutie too.

Wow Miatake. Where on Earth are you from? It must surely be a paradise. If you were to cram 127 000 000 people into my country, this sort of thing would be happening hourly. In most countries in world, a stabbing in the arm wouldn't even make the news!!

She probably met the guy once, but doesn't remember because it was a casual meeting in public. He is upset because she was not interested beyond a greeting, and now he wants to punish her. Some Japanese guys cannot handle rejection.
