Very rich and very naive.... a perfect combination.

The Nigerians would have loved to find her first.

"claiming the man needed money for medicine"

That should have been a tip-off. Japan has socialized healthcare.

Talk about looking for love in all the wrong places.

Uh, hey, Dad? Remember that 200 million yen grandma left me in her will? Yeah, I`m gonna need a little bit more.

  • Disillusioned at 04:04 PM JST - 24th May

Stooopid! That's two million bucks! And she kept giving it to her? What a complete idiot! She is sooo stoopid she deserves to get ripped off.

she should attend a Gōkon, there's always somebody... And for 200 million, I'll marry her...

its only when the congenitally idiotic hear about someone even less skilled than themselves that they feel compelled to crow with vacuous delight.

What did she really do with all this money, playing 'Bold and Beautiful?' Sometimes people they don't just think about their money and this are pure stupidity.

You always read about this type of thing happening in Japan. Yes she is stupid for allowing this to happen and at the root of this is probably why she is or is still perhaps single. This whole thing is somewhat illustrative of why we all like Japan - the level of trust people have is refreshing to us jaded gaijins.

Omiai would've been cheaper, I guess.

Masako Masuda, is a very good and clever storyteller, that is why she managed to swindle the 31 year old woman over the years.....

  • DarkKnightNine at 12:36 AM JST - 25th May

Where the hell did this woman get 2 million dollars? Hell I would have married her for that kind of money. Japanese have no sense about where to spend money. They use it for the most idiotic things.

  • whitepocky at 10:14 AM JST - 25th May

Amazing how low some people are, offering marriage for cash! Easy to knock the Japanese for their distaste in which they spend their cash, but is it as shallow as saying 'Id have a bit of that for 2mil'

  • Yelnats at 08:20 PM JST - 25th May

I paid for a dinner once to get married.
