After some eletric shocks and lobotomies she will be just fine and could be realeased in the urban jungle they think.
Should put behind bars for the rest of her life with a notice [do not throw husband]
What message is the Japanese Judicial system sending here?
Man in different case chops up a Filipino girl 9 years ago, and only gets 3 year sentence. He then does it again with another girl this year.
Woman in this case chops up her husband who she claims abused her, and she gets 20 years.
Of course I am oversimplifying both stories, but the facts are there to look up. Both killed and dismembered a human being. The man got 3 years and was able to commit the same crime a second time. The woman gets 20 years for what she did.
IMHO this says that in Japan, its far more heinous to chop up a Japanese man than it is to chop up a woman from another country.
I wonder if 20 years is truly long enough of a sentence. Is this the maximum non-death sentence that they can give? How about life in prison?
I do not want to see this woman imitate the other man in 20 (or less) years just like the man in the other story.
But if she was hanged, then wouldn't we have to hang the murderer who hanged her and so on, ad infinitum? Murder is murder, whether by state or individual.
Yo, the other dude only got 3 years due to lack of evidence that he was the one who killed her...
Lack of evidence or lack of motivation on the part of the J-cops to find any? If I got caught disposing of a mutilated body back home, I don't think the STL police would believe I "found it"

oops. my error. she hasn't been sentenced yet. so it should read "The woman might get 20 years for what she did."

She should be dangling from a rope, as should that sicko who chopped up the Philipinas.
