Woman's torso found floating in Hakata Bay

FUKUOKA —

A local resident discovered the torso of a woman floating near the shore of Nokono Island in Hakata Bay on Monday, police said, adding they believe the victim to be an adult female.

Police said several days to weeks have passed since the victim was killed, and no clothing or identifying articles were found on the torso.

    Well this is just horrifying. Poor woman. If she's on a missing persons list maybe they can use DNA to identify her.

    I hope justice will be found for this woman if it was not an accident.

    Hakata is full of YAKUZA, so just imagine! Take your pick which yakuza group would do this to a woman? RIP floating dead women in Hakata Bay.
