Lol... Good for the parlor! They needed to have this lesson! This is how you properly collect money from any kind of machines: Hire two armed police officers to stand on guard while you collect the money!

whitepocky - I agree. Those places are always crowded. Somebody would have seen it. And what is a "gun-like object" anyway?

Please explain what ‘pachinko parlor is' I never heard of it. Yes sure this is a great jackpot. What that an inside job? Someone has been doing a good 'MATHS' lessons. I wonder who the teacher was. In such instance of robbery better give them what they ask to avoid going into six feet hole.

More than likely it was a Yak who robbed the joint!! They are easy hits w/ loads of cash. The police won't lift a finger either as they just turn the other cheek when it comes to P.Parlors. Too many Yaks involved.

This is like $200,000 USD right? Honestly, is this even logistically possible? Sounds like a fake story to me. Maybe the parlor owner's excuse for coming up short to the Yakuza bosses.

I can't believe they pulled it off! This is great! We've consulted on logistics for months (speak Chinese, use black vans), but we never thought they could pull it off. Good for them!

  • TokyoXtreme at 11:16 PM JST - 10th March

And only took one guy with a plastic toy gun to pull this off... and how did he carry the money anyway? Do journalists in Japan ask even basic questions? Do cops? Sheesh.
