"The suspects will not be available for questioning next week as they will be heading out on a world tour, last stop being Switzerland to deposit the rest of their earnings. They should be back sometime in the spring... of 2015."

These vans are equipped with cameras inside so it should be easy to tell if it was these guards or someone else who took the cash.

In Moscow it takes a gang armed with AK47s to steal cash from these vehicles, but in Japan you just have to wait until it parks.

This would be real news if the headline was:

"Y69 mil NOT stolen from unattended cash van in Tokyo"

  • fatloser at 11:48 AM JST - 15th December

A copy of the key was made and two impersonators dressed as guards came and removed the MONEY while the two real guards were busy. WHO is the mastermind behind this crime?? The prime suspect works in the money truck company..in the garage or in the dispatch office. The two guards are probably innocent dupes! These trucks should have data recorders like airplanes do!!!

...I had a "job" "Inside" my house today! It also took me about an hour!

What happened to the data recorder? Take it to?

Talk about being in the right place at the right time!

There's 2 problems with this story...

    1. 45 minutes to empty an ATM (BTW...the ATM camera would have recorded such an adventure)

    And

    1. Forgetful 50 plus year old security guards

This shouldn't be in the crime section it should be in the stupidity section. As posted above how does it take 45 mins to loot a ATM. I have been given the evil gaijin eye by these guys while they were emptying the local 7-11 atm, which took about 5 mins. Last time the guy lost his stick trying to get to the keys of the van when I came out the door after them. Like I would be interested in a few grand.

    DXX:

" As posted above how does it take 45 mins to loot a ATM. "

The ojisan didn´t loot the ATM; someone looted their money car while they were taking 45 minutes to walk to the ATM and take the money out.
