Looks like a winner! Just hope it doesn't confuse the heck out of me like David Lynch's last movie.

Jarmusch is agenius, and I love EVERY one of his films. My most recent favourite is Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (Forest Whitaker), but all time favourite is Dead Man (Johnny Depp), and of course Down By Law and Night on Earth. Hell, Coffee and Cigarettes... damn... love them all.

Saw the flick. Save your money. I like Jarmusch's earlier work (Mystery Train, Down By Law) but this one is a HUGE disappointment. It ends up going nowhere...very slowly. If you like Spanish locations, you might just enjoy it for the scenery. One of his more pretentious films.

I heard the film is in 4 different languages. Will I have to be reading Japanese subtitles?

Yup. It helps to have a good knowledge of Espanol since the film mainly takes place in Spain. Otherwise you'd better brush up on your kanji.

Youki Kudoh is a wonderful actress and someone I admire greatly for all that she did in her years in the U.S. to create a successful career for herself.

I had the opportunity to do a bit of work with her a few years ago. I had a chance to talk to her about many things and it was one of the highlights of my life in Japan.
