If they're going to cower and take a big loss on this anyway then pass it off online.
No movie theater excuses or worries in that case.
Spread it around the world and get a little payback.

I would happily pay theater prices to view it online in the safety of my own home, and everyone I speak to says the same thing. This is a situation where people would actually like Sony to make the same if not more than they would have done distributing it in theaters, just to show NK they cant dictate what we watch. I suspect now with all the publicity Sony will have a lot more people who may not otherwise have chosen to see it, downloading it to see what all the fuss is about!
