I loved the series but wonder how Jack is going to crowd "24 hours" into just 2 hours... ?

Hmm...maybe a two hour original movie, followed by 11 sequels. That`ll run us until 2026, at least.

I'm sure that would be quite entertaining to watch a geriatric Jack running around delaying terrorists blowing up yet another nuclear bomb...

I loved the series but I don't see how the concept will work well in a movie format. I am still looking forward to seeing it.

I recently rented a movie at my local video shop, with a picture of Keifer Sutherland on the front. The title was "Airport 24". I thought it was based on the series. Turned out it had nothing to do with "24," was made long before the series started. I guess the name was to lure suckers like me in who didn't know any better.

Maybe they will show all twelve 2-hour chunks of the day (12-2am, 2-4am, 4-6am, 6-8am, etc.) on the big screen simultaneously?

gaijininfo, DH and I rented that too! LOL! Who really reads the back of the DVDs? Do you remember what the actual title was? It was a real dog of a movie if I remember it correctly.

The fact that they were going to make a movie was decided quite some time ago, if you guys recall. Kiefer was interviewed thoroughly on the subject some two years ago or more and said it would be fun in that they would not be as constricted by time line and could do a lot more with it, although of course he said he liked the time-line concept as well.

I don't think it's stand well as a movie, same as the last 24 movie (the precursor to the next season) was more like an extended episode of the show. Still, it'll be a fun watch.

I kind of like this guy, Kiefer. He impressed me very much.

Wouldn´t that movie be "2 hours" if they follow the concept of the series?

    It's not 24hours long?

I loved the first four seasons of 24. I just hope that this time round they hire more reliable folk to work for CTU. (笑)
