TOKYO —

Actor Junichi Ishida, 54, has directed the production of a music video for the group RSP, his first foray into video direction. Ishida directed the video for the group’s new song “M – Another Love Story,” which is a remake of a song by popular 1990s female rock group Princess Princess. The new song has so far been downloaded 500,000 times for mobile ring tones.

Ishida, who was asked by RSP to direct the video, said, “I’m confident that everybody will like the video.”
