Actor Yusuke Isetani angered by questions about former girlfriend

TOKYO —

On Thursday, in Tokyo, actor Yusuke Isetani and actress Yoshino Kimura attended an event promoting their new film “Blindness”. It has been widely reported that the couple broke up during production of the film.

The film is a suspense story, about a viral epidemic that makes people go blind; Isetani and Kimura play a blind couple suffering from the virus.

Asked, during the event, if they were no longer an item; Isetani became angry and left the venue saying, “Now is not the right time to be asking such questions.”

The film will be released in November.

I recently watched Tarantino's Sukiyaki Westerm Django. Yoshino Kimura was the only person in the film other than Tarantino whose English I could understand. I agree with thepro.

Kimura is not so hot. She's from a rich family and has lots of connections, but otherwise she would have never gotten such roles - she admitted so much in an interview with Shunkan Gendai.

Life as a acting Icon has its perks. Well until the media seeks fresh meat for its front page news. He should should get used to the media attention and get along with his career. Does his ex-girl friend need some sympathy, I will give her counseling if she needs it. As far as Yoshino Kimura, she can pay me to be her escort, she is hot!

I think the only obvious thing is that he is quite upset about the situation, but it is still a good observation you make.

However, it could be that she did something he could not abide, and he dumped her but is still upset about the situation. I have seen lots of guys get fixated about what they think is "right", dump a girl for not conforming, and proceed to go through life like it was all her fault.

could not it be that he was there for the promotion of a film and wanted to talk about that topic ? what the hell his private life has to do with the movie !? nothing !! that is good that finally a japanese "talent" react and not just smile !! japanese journalists are too use to ask stupid questions as nobody never complain... they got to learn there is time for some questions... and that was not one of them.

The movie 'Blindness' ends with everyone magically regaining their sight, after having been quarantined in an abandoned hospital or something. I guess the virus ran its course and went away. It is from a book, I believe originally published in Portuguese. Looks like quite an interesting movie, but the writer's other book looks better: it is the story of an election in which everyone decides not to vote, and the ensuing drama.
