TOKYO —
Actress Masami Nagasawa, 21, will play the role of a woman who loses a loved one in her new film “Gunjo”, the Nikkan Sports newspaper reported.
The story takes place in Okinawa where Nagasawa is beset by tragedy but gets a new lease of life as she discovers a new hobby, deep-sea diving.
In officials comments, director Yosuke Nakagawa said, “In the film, tragedy stikes an energetic girl (Nagasawa) on an Okinawan island and she loses her emotional balance. I thought Nagasawa was perfect for such a challenging role.”
The film will be released in November by 20th Century Fox Japan.

the set looks balanced but i'm not sure if she is is sitting on the white couch or standing by the window. either way she doesn't have much presence

She's up against the wall to the right of the couch.

I'm going to assume she gets into scuba diving. And not "deep sea diving" walking the ocean floor wearing a diving helmet and having air pumped down to her.

If they did product placement in the movie with everything she hawks, the budget would be just the salaries of the actors and production crew.
