How is it a "Hollywood" film when it has been filmed fully in Japan by Japanese producers?

It's got some American actors in it, and an American wrote the screenplay. Otherwise, a vanity project by the Japanese to create a fake American movie so they can claim to have gone Hollywood. Sad.

More films from japan is good. Film business is a good business for japan to enter globally.

IMDB user comment: "Skinny, attractive woman who couldn't act if it were cursed on her... This movie is about as intelligent as a log."

Personally I'd question the intelligence of any reviwer who expects any intelligence from a J-Horror film.

Actually, it's a remake from a Thai Horror movie

Megumi Okina has lost a lot of weight from a few years ago. I guess it goes with the territory. I did some work with the actress/singer, Misako Uno, a few years back when she was preparing her lines for the Juon 2 movie. She hardly ate anything at the time, and got thinner and thinner. At least in the first Juon movie, Yoko Maki understood what her two biggest assets were and kept them in tip-top shape.

    Megumi Okina: Please eat something!

The horror part of this movie must be when they get their bill from the hotel they spend their honeymoon in Tokyo (that would shock anyone).

the original thai movie was better, not that this version was bad or anything.

Why anyone would want to go Hollywood is beyond me. They haven't really made any good movies in years. it's all formula now days, the script being written to support the "Stars" in the movies. Now, Japan has Godzilla. I wish we did.
