TOKYO —
Actress Miho Nakayama, 38, will return to the big screen for the first time in the 11 years. She will appear in a South Korean film “Sayonara Itsuka” which is based on her husband Hitonari Tsuji’s novel.
Nakayama, who has been living in Paris with her family since 2002, said, “I was very moved by the Korean film ‘‘A Moment to Remember,’ and I’m thrilled to be able to work with the director of that film.”
The story takes place in Thailand where an elite ad agency executive, who has a fiancée, falls in love with an attractive woman (Nakayama) who flirts with him. Nothing comes of their relationship until they encounter each other again 25 years later.
The production will start in Bangkok in May and then take place in Japan and Korea. The film is scheduled to be released in the spring of 2009.
