Scrote: The Japanese continued use of 'fax machines' is quite impressive. Being that anything that can be faxed can be emailed/faxed via a computer, you have to be 'impressed' by their continued use of 20th century technology. I haven't used a fax for over 20 years and if I had to send a fax to someone here in Japan (often) I'd just subscribe to a fax service for around 1000 yen a month and then use my computer as if it was a fax.
