Actress Sayuri Yoshinaga to be featured on postage stamp

TOKYO —

Actress Sayuri Yoshinaga, 63, will be featured on a set of postage stamps, which will show her wearing the costume of Japan’s ancient queen Himiko, to mark her latest film “Maboroshi no Yamataikoku.”

Photos of Yoshinaga will be used on stamps for the first time, according to her agent. Orders for the set of stamps (5,500 yen) will be accepted at post offices nationwide from Sept 16 to Oct 31.

The film will be released on Nov 1.

Hey, classic actors can be on stamps. But if they dare put some no talent tarento on stamps then there may be a riot.
