TOKYO —

UNICEF Ambassador Agnes Chan, 52, on Wednesday took part in an NGO event at a junior high school in Tokyo to campaign for providing school lunches in developing countries

Chan, who had lunch together with students at the school, said, “Today’s lunch was too much for me to eat. But I can’t leave it because that wouldn’t be a good example for children here.”

The organizer of the event said the same event was held all over the world Wednesday, with about 2 million children in 180 countries participating.

I remember her - there were guys I knew who were crazy about her.

I wonder if she remembers me, I was well known, extremely high profile in Tokyo when she was a "star".

My mother liked her. Didn't she marry her Japanese manager?

Umm, I know soup kitchens that have more food on their plate than what she has in front of her...

Wouldn't "san" be more approrpriate for a UNICEF ambassador? "Chan" seems a tad familiar to me.

Chan is her surname. She is Hong Kong Chinese.

She is not a sur. She is a miss. All so confusing. Go, Agnes Chan-chan!

What I was trying to say was:

LOL! On excellent form today, Nessie.

What, you were Tokyo Tower? Probably best not to get your hopes up, Apec-kun.
