Aki Hoshino frolicks on Kamakura shore for opening of Crocs beach house

KAMAKURA —

Model-celebrity Aki Hoshino, 32, has been appointed “special supporter” of shoe maker Crocs’ Yuigihama beach house, which opens this Saturday and will operate until the end of August. The Crocs footwear shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the cafe and dining bar will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Hoshino wore a pair of blue denim shorts and a low-cut white top to the press event, with her long mane in pigtails draping down her shoulders. Reporters have been keen for details recently on Hoshino’s relationship with 19-year-old jockey Kosei Miura, but Hoshino again kept them at bay with some wishy-washy answers.

Hate to tell you folks but, Crocs are so yesterday. The company is virtually in bankruptcy so it is interesting that they are jamming resources into the last remaining 'virtual' market. Good luck Crocs.
