Akina Minami goes back to school

Akina Minami, 20, appeared at an event recently to promote the DVD release of the TV drama “Ichigo Seminar,” taking the stage in a cute schoolgirl uniform much to the delight of the male audience.
The show is about an eccentric teacher and students, with popular class queen played by Minami. However, the starlet admitted that “my school days ended without ever tasting the ‘popular’ life once.”
She commented that, because she’s baby-faced, she can still look good in a school uniform, but added, “I’m actually quite embarrassed to be seen like this.”
