Amuro's new DVD hits No. 1 on Oricon charts

I've noticed the popularity of this DVD recently. Amuro is great, but I wonder what is drawing such a high demand. Good advertising maybe.

The Oricon chart is the only chart in Japan that is accurate (based on units sold) the rest are virtually all paid for positions based on "played" (including TV countdowns).

Not impressed with her. She seems like a high-class you-know-what to me. She can flaunt it all for cameras on stage or anywhere else, but once someone takes a snapshot of her with her kid in public, she goes ballistic. Thanks, but no thnaks.

Osakadaz, yes her mother was murdered but she was murdered by Amuro's uncle (the mother's brother or brother-in-law) who went on to commit suicide.

I've always enjoyed her music and singing and am glad she's still on top of the game.

I'm afraid Namie Amuro Best Fiction Tour 2008-2009 has sold 155,000 copies (not 1.55 million copies) since the DVD went on sale Sept 9, according to several Japanese stats.

for some of ur info she's not with TK no more, she is doing way better without him. She is an independent woman who has been through a lot and deserves our support. We love u namie!! keep on d awesome work!!
