Animal Hamaguchi cheers on daughter Kyoko

TOKYO —

Ex-wrestler Animal Hamaguchi, 60, this week appeared at an event for music group Asia Engineer to introduce their new song “Never Defeated” in Tokyo.

Hamaguchi, whose daughter Kyoko, 30, is a professional wrestler on Japan’s national team for the Beijing Olympics, said, “The lyrics of the song are very energetic. So is Kyoko. She is unbeatable.”

Sorry but Hamaguchi does not have any chance against zlateva. I can imagine the disappointment of her father but they are used now, hopefully.

If she's a professional wrestler, she shouldn't be in the Olympics anyway

Neither should all the other pro-athletes be in there.

That guy will have a heart attack one of these days doing his "act". Still it's made him a lot of cash, which is all that matters most people would say.

i wonder if kyoko doesn't feel just a shade embarrassed sometimes with her father's retarded psycho routine. would love to be a fly on the wall at a family dinner

Well they soon won't be able to play this song anymore.

Surely they should have titled or based their song around the gambarimasu or gaman spirit, then when she inevitably loses she can just strive to do better in the next Olympics, and the song can play for four years, when she loses again, then she can retire but continue doing her best and enduring the struggle as a commentator on the next bunch of loser competitors. They really should have thought this one through a bit more.
