TOKYO —
Female announcers from major TV stations in Tokyo on Wednesday launched the joint online website “gorin.jp” for the Beijing Olympic Games. Nana Suzue, 28, from NTV, Yuriko Takahata, 27, from TBS, Rio Hirai, 25, from Fuji TV, Emi Takeuchi, 31, from TV Asahi, and Miho Ohashi, 29, from TV Tokyo attended the press conference.
Takeuchi, whose shouting face is used for online ads for the site, said, “I threw my pride away to pose for this photo. My colleagues said it would make it more difficult to find a husband.”
The website will start broadcasting preliminary matches for women’s soccer on August 6.

Emi Takeuchi is the eldest (31) in this group but hope she will not have any difficulty in finding a husband.
