'Ant-Man,' a super-hero who doesn't take himself seriously

I'd like to see this but still can't imagine Paul Rudd as as superhero/action star.

JapanToday is pretty odd when it comes to film reviews. They don't post a review for every movie, just sporadically, and then this movie doesn't even open in Japan for two months and by that time no one is going to even remember this review. Do reviews right or don't do it at all.

I hear this movie is f-ant-astic.

An instantly forgettable movie....

I thought this movie was great! I thought it lived up to the hype.

I think the difference between the Marvel films and the more recent Batman and Superman films is that the latter take the subject matter seriously... the Marvel ones seem to have their tongues in their respective cheeks, as if they feel the only way to connect with an audience is to be funny. I think I prefer the more serious tone of the DC films.
