Aya Ueto wins Best Dresser award

TOKYO —

Actress Aya Ueto, 23, won an award at the 37th Best Dresser Awards held by Japan Men’s Fashion Unity at the Grand Prince Hotel Akasaka.

Ueto wore a Versace cream dress about which she said: “I thought it suited my age and it gave me energy.” When asked when she will be wearing a wedding dress, she emphasized: “Not for a while.”

Actor Hayato Ichihara, 21, also won in the entertainment category. Pro basketballer Yuta Tabuse, 28, won in the sports category and actor-singer Yutaka Mizutani, 56, won a special award.
