"This work is a history of the last 10 years of my life"- I wonder how much of this history is actually the creative talent of Ayumi as opposed to the slew of producers, marketing types, hair dryers, and voice altering synthesizers that she is wholly dependent upon? When she goes into the studio to sing or on stage to perform is she really expressing herself? she appears to be a very synthetic product designed by an industry that knows how to push the right buttons which produces the right sounds in order to make teenage girls and other mentally inept types part with their yen.

    release a best-of album “A Complete

For god's sake, here we go again. First we have 'My precious' from Shizuka, now we have 'a complete' from the worst 'singer' in modern Jp history. A complete what? A precious what? Can these people please get their English checked if they're going to use it (although why they want to use English is beyond me).

...do not forget Koda Kumi, maybe "my full treasure" from her soon.

Might be good. But how can we get Chie Imaizumi to come to Japan. She is knocking everyone over in America with her incredible Jazz. I got her last CD and WOW has she got it together. I was told that she has th support of a ex business executive who was in Japan for an American company he believes she is the best thing to come out of Japan maybe ever. He was once the owner of a record company.

Her music is fantastic and I just want to know who we can get in Japan to bring her here. May the Blue Note of some other Jazz operation and the symphoney for sure should be getting in touch with her or this business guy she has. If any one gets his email please post it.

She is so good she may never come back

so, hope litlle Ayumi makes it big.

it may be manufactured, but i still prefer her music to anything komuro tetsuya or tsunku ever churned out.

the onyl thing with ayumi is that she's had just a few surgeries too many. she acheived near perfection about 4-5 years ago and then suddenly she started looking like a space alien. i think it was for the rainbow cover she looked the best, and then yikes...

yeah, rainbow was a good album and I think it had some original, not manufactured songs on it too. But I'm listening to trance and electronica here in the office to drown out the noise, so maybe my tastes are getting skewed.

Really? I'd much rather listen to old Sharan Q than Ayu.

They have a few good songs, but on the whole I'd take Ayu over SharanQ any day. But that's just me...
