Becky remains secluded at home following enforced leave from show biz

Japanese “talent” Becky, 32, who became the target of fierce public and media bashing in January due to her rumored affair with Enon Kawatani, 27, the vocalist of the popular band Gesu no Kiwami Otome, is said to be leading a void and secluded life at home following her retreat from the show business world.

“For a person who used to run a by-the-second occupied schedule for over 10 years, she is now troubled by a major sense of loss, which escalates day by day,” an unidentified close friend of Becky’s told the media, referring to the star’s complete loss of work since the end of January, Sports Nippon reported.

Following the scandal revelation on Jan 7, Becky went into an “enforced” leave from the show business world, withdrawing (or being dropped) from all commercials and regular TV programs she had been featured in.

Becky is currently said to be staying predominantly at home with her family, who help her cope with the situation. Her manager and friends from the show business world are also supporting her through occasional contacts. According to Sports Nippon, the 32-year-old has been advised not to watch TV in order to prevent deterioration of her condition.

Becky, previously one of the most popular TV personalities in Japan, had 10 regular TV programs, one radio program, and was backed up by 10 sponsors, for whom she had been the main commercial face for years in her career.

The scandal broke with the release of the Jan 7 issue of the weekly Shukan Bunshun magazine which reported it had seen LINE messages in which Kawatani reportedly said he wanted to marry Becky if he could divorce his wife. Becky denied having a relationship with Kawatani during a press conference on Jan 6, but a second report by Shukan Bunshun released on Jan 21 leaked another apparent LINE conversation between the two, in which they were reportedly cheerfully discussing the initial scoop, saying that “it may actually set (them) free (to go public with the affair).” The second leak caused an enormous damage to Becky’s career, drastically impairing her long-time image of pure and scandal-free celebrity.

Currently, it is unclear when and whether Becky can restore her career and return to the showbiz spotlight, but several TV program producers are believed to have been contacting Becky’s agency, inquiring about her current status, Sports Nippon says. The newspaper also cited a commercial TV channel representative as saying that Becky may be expected to return to TV “sometime in the summer at the earliest.”

Meanwhile, Kawatani’s band, who made their major debut in December last year, is apparently undamaged by the scandal, successfully launching their all-Japan tour on March 13.

She'll be back!

Her manager and friends from the show business world are also supporting her through occasional contacts.

Already setting up her "come back"

Kawatani’s ... is apparently undamaged by the scandal,

Well that's fair isn't it.

Becky... is said to be leading a void and secluded life at home following her retreat from the show business world.

How about Enon, the celebrity who cheated on his wife? Is he also leading a void and secluded life at home? I think not.

Double standards. This killed Becky's advertising endorsement revenues, but was a huge career booster for Enon.

22 ( +23 / -2 )

I can't understand why, but a lot of Japanese people really enjoyed bashing her for the couple of weeks her affair was on the news.

9 ( +13 / -4 )

I can't understand why, but a lot of Japanese people really enjoyed bashing her

Because she's gaijin

15 ( +28 / -14 )

Spurious scumbag Enon Kawatani humiliates and ridicules his wife in public and it's business as usual. Becky foolishly allows heart rule her head and subsequently her cereer gets thrown under a truck, that's equally! Nippon style!!

30 ( +34 / -5 )

I agree with your post, but it's not just a Japanese thing

-2 ( +6 / -8 )

According to Sports Nippon, the 32-year-old has been advised not to watch TV in order to prevent deterioration of her condition.

Sound advice for anyone living in Japan.

45 ( +46 / -2 )

The Japanese are good at exploiting people and then discarding them; doesn't matter who they are: ALTs, foreign talents, whatever. Its a form of left over feudalism, in my opinion.

If I were Becky, I'd try my hand at entertainment overseas..maybe even in the UK.

14 ( +21 / -7 )

So the woman took all the beating but the man who was actually cheating on someone took none of it? Wow!

14 ( +17 / -3 )

If I were Becky, I'd try my hand at entertainment overseas..maybe even in the UK.

Great idea! I'm sure TV execs will be lining her up for appearances on I'm a Celebrity; Get Me Out of Here and Loose Women.

0 ( +7 / -7 )

I think Becky is too popular to be discarded completely. She'll have to put up with this for a couple of years or so, then there'll be news coverage of her "journey" and then her inevitable comeback.

0 ( +6 / -6 )

She annoyed the crap out of me most of the time but this is just beyond. I feel so sorry for her.

8 ( +11 / -3 )

Not a fan of Becky, but what they're doing to her is disgusting.

11 ( +15 / -4 )

Poor kid. If she is to be condemned for anything, it should be her appalling taste in men. Have you seen this guy? I tell you, not enough beer in the world for that!

17 ( +19 / -2 )

Meanwhile, Kawatani has become more of a star, just to show you the double standards here when it comes to persecuting people for love affairs. He did say one thing, though, which I agree with, and that was in asking, "Who do they think I should apologise to?" when the media demanded apologies, and he refused to.

Neither he nor Becky need to apologise to ANYONE, save perhaps Kawatani apologising to his wife since it is HE who was committing adultery. Becky has to apologise to no one, and once she did, she was set on by the buzzards that are the media here. She should definitely tell them off and as one poster suggested perhaps try her hand at celebrity overseas, maybe in her father's home nation. Then when the media inevitably stalks her to brag about the success of a Japanese overseas, she can give them the finger. She doesn't deserve what she is getting here -- even for the media they are being more ruthless than usual, and over a RUMOURED love affair; they don't even do this to this extent for people who are arrested for drugs, or who cheated on taxes and cost the people and government money, etc.

12 ( +17 / -5 )

I saw an interview with this guy Enon Kawatani, and he was asked should he apologize for what has happened. His response was, "who should I apologize to?" What a douche bag! How about your wife first, then Becky, then the companies and TV stations that you upended with your selfish acts. As stated above, I've never been a big Becky fan, feel she was on TV only because of her dual ethnicity, but she didn't deserve this.

8 ( +13 / -5 )

So Becky, an unmarried woman, has a relationship with Enon Kawatani, a married man. The relationship is exposed, her career is ruined and is just continues as if he's done nothing wrong, despite cheating on his wife.

Something is wrong there, and I feel bad for Becky.

13 ( +14 / -2 )

I would never let my daughter work in the Japanese entertainment business.

12 ( +16 / -4 )

He should be blamed more!!

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Go and spend a few years in your fathers country the UK Becky. Leave the sad vultures to look for something else to feed on. There is a world outside of Japan. Ask Asashoryu! Chin up darling.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

If I were Becky, I'd try my hand at entertainment overseas..maybe even in the UK.

@Aly

Agree. Becky's younger sister, Jessica Rabone, has been living in the U.S. for some time now (LA I think), where she has been developing a very successful career in show business. I would love to see Becky also leave Dodge and build her career outside of Japan.

Jessica on FOX: http://www.fox.com/so-you-think-you-can-dance/contestant/jessica-jj-rabone

I never heard of Becky" and never saw her on TV or in print ads.

-10 ( +4 / -14 )

For sho! Leave this ridiculous place and get some real training from pros, do some real acting or writing or anything, but why would anyone waste all that training and education to become a ludicrous J-talento? Dead end and meaningless career! Of all the things not to have on my tombstone..."J-talento" is in the top 3 at least! Go do something real!

11 ( +11 / -0 )

sensei

can't understand why, but a lot of Japanese people really enjoyed bashing her

Because she's gaijin>

IMO it leans more towards her being a woman + tall poppy syndrome

8 ( +8 / -0 )

Meanwhile, Kawatani’s band, who made their major debut in December last year, is apparently undamaged by the scandal, successfully launching their all-Japan tour on March 13

No sexism here. Nothing to see. Move along. Move along.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Why is this even in the news? It's just more sexist BS that the world needs less of. I can't stand Becky but the fact is, she wasn't the one who cheated. What is upsetting is that it was the Japanese women calling and complaining about her. I guess she hit a little too close to home for some... Grow up ladies and get a life. I hope Becky leaves Japan and makes it elsewhere.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Funny how just yesterday there was an article on here about the UN criticizing the rampant sexism in Japan and the PM getting all riled up about that. How dare anyone accuse Japan of sexism? Oh, uh right. Because of the reality.

I love this country, but seeing the reaction against Becky (who, it should be noted, does not appear to have done anything wrong by any reasonable standard) over this just kind of makes me want to throw up.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

I can't understand why, but a lot of Japanese people really enjoyed bashing her

. . . in case you've haven't noticed. There's a culture of bullying here in Japan. Its everywhere.

5 ( +9 / -4 )

Some misunderstanding here. Becky built up a clean image to the public over her entire career. Her CM sponsors using that image for their products started to ditch her after finding out about the adultery. Her 'Line' comment "gonna push through that we're just friends (laugh)" was a nail in the coffin as people felt belittled that she feels she can fool the public easily as she did with her image over the years.

3 ( +8 / -5 )

And how about Katsura Bunshi who had an affair with a floozy young enough to be his daughter. After news of this 'mini' scandal broke out, his show, Shinkon-san Irasshai, continued on as normal. It's as if it's ok for a dirty old man to do what we would expect of his type, but women aren't allowed to have a discrete relationship.

Stupid double standards in a misogynistic country that will never change. I'm not a fan of Becky, in fact I find her quite annoying, but she doesn't deserve this. If she had a UK passport, I'd have recommended her leaving this authoritarian country and trying something different away from these judgmental people with nothing better to do.

5 ( +9 / -4 )

Sanjigen, yes and no. Politicans, who are supposed to be honest and clean, get caught doing far worse than this and yet, they never step down or retire. Heck, the governor of Tokyo is a fine example of someone who cheats, beats and doesn't pay childcare yet... I don't see him taking anywhere near the crap Becky has been given. It's sexism plain and simple. Did she sell her imagine as the girl next door? Sure. But many men do the same and don't get taken out like Becky has.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Japan showing how gender equal it is as ever.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Stupid double standards in a misogynistic country that will never change.

Woman sleeps with married man, woman is considered a tramp or homewrecker and man moves on with his life. This is not just a Japan thing.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

What a travesty this is.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

I find it odd that commentators are asserting that Becky got the short end of the stick solely because she was a woman and something like this would never happen to a guy. Has everyone forgotten the Diet member who was making a name for himself by wanting to take paternity leave? He was presenting himself as the modern, progressive guy but it came out that he was cavorting with a woman not his wife. So what happened to him? Did he get off because he was a guy? Quite the contrary, he ended up resigning his Diet seat.

As at least one commentator has pointed out Becky built her career on being squeaky clean and cute. She has no other real talent. When she blew her image, she lost the only thing that gave her commercial value. "Infidelity" is not at all uncommon in the Japanese entertainment world (or anywhere else), but it does not have all the much impact on women who are not just clean and cute but who also have real acting and signing ability.

2 ( +8 / -6 )

the 32-year-old has been advised not to watch TV in order to prevent deterioration of her condition.

Good advice which would benefit all the rest of us as well!

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Becky is probably being sued by Kawatani's wife for Infidelity at a civil court.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

@ bullfighter

The diet member was made an example of cos he was a nail that stuck out so he got hammered down. Not the same thing as Becky.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Woman sleeps with married man, woman is considered a tramp or homewrecker and man moves on with his life. This is not just a Japan thing.

What is your point? Just because other countries are sexist Japan can be too?

Has everyone forgotten the Diet member who was making a name for himself by wanting to take paternity leave? He was presenting himself as the modern, progressive guy but it came out that he was cavorting with a woman not his wife. So what happened to him? Did he get off because he was a guy? Quite the contrary, he ended up resigning his Diet seat. HE resigned. Becky did not. He was also the one caught cheating. Becky wasn't cheating. Hardly fair to compare the same situations.

I do agree with you on the talent thing but that isn't what the issue is here. If Japan got rid of all the talentless people on TV I think most would be gone.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Never particularly liked her, but it is sad so see how she is railroaded. Japanese entertainment world setting themselves up as moral paragons? What a load of hypocrisy.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

“For a person who used to run a by-the-second occupied schedule for over 10 years, she is now troubled by a major sense of loss, which escalates day by day,” an unidentified close friend of Becky’s.

Yeah, there's an unimpeachable source.

This whole thing is stupid. And you know what's stupidest about it? When someone tries to rationalize it by arguing, "Well, she built her image on being clean-cut, that's why everyone's so upset about it," as if somehow the destruction of an adult's life is justified by the projections of fans and busybody tongue-cluckers who act as if they've never done anything wrong in their lives. However you cut it, it's a childish aspect of society where an adult can make a mistake in her personal life and have to pay professionally for it by the complete destruction of her career. She didn't kill someone. She didn't sell drugs to teenagers. She dated the wrong guy and she appears to have assumed she could kind of smooth it over because people are rational and forgiving of foibles.

That latter thing was probably her worst mistake.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Sensei258, Without doubt every society has it fairness and equality issues that effects both Men and Women.

What blows my whistle, gives me the huff puffs, is blatant double standards and Enon Kawatani barefaced brassneck attitude.

Also astonishingly, Women are the first to condemn Becky to the stocks and ignore Enon Kawatani caddish behaviour.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

What is your point? Just because other countries are sexist Japan can be too?

If you read posts, I see many that blame the entire country for the acts of a few. I never said it was OK to be sexist but I did say that people who think Japan is the only country in the world with gender inequality has no idea about what goes on around the World.

Time to look at yourself in the mirror folks. Calling out an entire country and society as being sexist is discrimination and you are no better than the people who are keeping Becky down. Thumbs down me all you want if you think it is cool to bash Japan and the people as a whole.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I can't understand why, but a lot of Japanese people really enjoyed bashing her.

People with empty lives, having been raised not to stand out, taking pleasure in the misdeeds of someone who did stand out. The people who are entertained by the kind of trivial variety shows Becky appeared on are pathetic, but as mindless drones they fit in nicely in Japan Inc.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

@ Ampas

Totally agree with you, what was it Mrs Roosevelt said.... Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Becky.... it may seem bad right now but do you really want to continue to be a part of an media monopoly that is sexist, corrupt, insensitive, self serving, unfair, and just plain brain dead. The whole Geinojin thing in Japan is enough to make anyone sick. I used to think Americans saying OMG so much was sickening until I tried watching a few Japanese Variety Shows. Eeeeeeee, eeeeeeee, was about all you heard after any basic statement. Never, never, should a Japanese person make fun of anyone saying OMG.....

2 ( +3 / -1 )

He bar code oyaji sweeping hairdo over her forehead was ugly, but other than her drifting right eye, she was pretty sexy, cute, luvly legs, skin, hands and smile. Good luck Becky. When you get a chance, kick that ugly dude in his painful rocks. He deserves it.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

but I did say that people who think Japan is the only country in the world with gender inequality has no idea about what goes on around the World.

Care to point out where people said this is just an issue in Japan??

Calling out an entire country and society as being sexist is discrimination and you are no better than the people who are keeping Becky down. Thumbs down me all you want if you think it is cool to bash Japan and the people as a whole.

101 on the gender index scale. I think people can claim Japan is sexist. Calling them Japan bashers for stating facts is pretty poor, no?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

I can't understand why, but a lot of Japanese people really enjoyed bashing her.

In my local pub, the topic came up and the consensus was that this scapegoating of Becky is stupid. Disclaimer: a bunch a middle-aged Japanese guys at the counter; no idea what another demographic would think.

Disclaimer: a bunch a middle-aged Japanese guys at the counter; no idea what another demographic would think.

Ahh, the sheepish mentality. . . even in those basement bars.

Can't believe this is happening in modern Japan.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

101 on the gender index scale. I think people can claim Japan is sexist. Calling them Japan bashers for stating facts is pretty poor, no?

JAPAN is a country that includes your husband, boyfriend, co-worker among other men in your life in this country. Calling them sexist because of their nationality is pretty poor, no? I'd say calling out an entire country is bashing the country, yes.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

As was mentioned above, the only person Enon needs to apologize to is his wife, otherwise it's really between him, his wife, and becky. (and the lawyer if Enon's wife (now ex-wife?) decided to sue). What I find truly hypocritical of this situation is that it's happened plenty of times before with celebrities dropping their wives for a trophy wife, but the reaction is totally dependent on who it is. Look at Sakurai-san from Mr. Children, he's a famous example of dropping his wife for a trophy wife, and no one can speak evil of Mr. Children.

At the end of the day, it's less about the affair and more about her coming out and lying about the relationship to the media and then laughing about it on line the day afterwards. That's what has ruined her career.

I mean come on, Mari Yaguchi can get caught sleeping with another man in her bed by her husband and come back after a year of exile, but that's because she was up and front about it. You'd think Yaguchi is worse, but it's all about admitting your wrong and showing the right amount of remorse (on becky's part). As for Enon? Guess he's just trying to be like Sakurai.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

This is quite incredible that such a popular figure lost ALL her tv contracts for such trivial matter. One would think that at least a few or even one sponsor/tv show would have seen the light and realised she wasn't the one at fault. Plus, who cares anyway?

Its not only sexism at its worst but also some disgusting moral high ground.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

JAPAN is a country that includes your husband, boyfriend, co-worker among other men in your life in this country. Calling them sexist because of their nationality is pretty poor, no? I'd say calling out an entire country is bashing the country, yes.

Not really, it was a reflection on the country as a whole, not on any particular individual as a whole.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Dadude, really? Suggesting that Japan is sexist is now a personal attack on all the people you mentioned? Really?

If you feel that noting Japan is, in comparison to other countries, sexist well enjoy the Japan fan club. I would rather address the issue and make it better for all living here - Japanese or not. Burying your head in the sand doesn't help about. Japan IS sexist. Pretty much every nation is but compared to all other developed nations, Japan is the worst. If you want to take that as bashing, be my guest.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

some people are saying it's because she is not 100% Japanese or because she's a woman... I don't think the reason why Becky is getting all these has much to do with her gender or her not being 100% Japanese. Enon is getting all sorts of bashing but he's got thick skin while Becky got so stressed out.

Enon doesn't really depend upon his clean image to sell his music while Becky was selling her image to earn money/popularity. Enon's really got thick skin and maybe that's what's needed in show-biz.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

She should take a long holiday overseas, go travelling and enjoy herself. It's not as if anyone really knows who she is overseas anyway.

It actually is a basement bar. How did you know?

"Becky is probably being sued by Kawatani's wife for Infidelity at a civil court."

What kind of money can you get for this? Can men sue other men as well?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Seems to me people should be less concerned with who's doing what to whom and a bit more concerned with how the media has 'access' to people's private communications.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

I was shocked that Becky is actually 32 years old! Still trying to portray the image of an emotionally stunted teenager. I guess if you try to make a living by having a squeaky clean image, and you tarnish the image, then you pay the price.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Hey Becky, read this! Still I Rise

You may write me down in history With your bitter, twisted lies, You may trod me in the very dirt But still, like dust, I’ll rise.

Does my sassiness upset you? Why are you beset with gloom? ‘Cause I walk like I’ve got oil wells Pumping in my living room.

Just like moons and like suns, With the certainty of tides, Just like hopes springing high, Still I’ll rise.

Did you want to see me broken? Bowed head and lowered eyes? Shoulders falling down like teardrops, Weakened by my soulful cries?

Does my haughtiness offend you? Don’t you take it awful hard ‘Cause I laugh like I’ve got gold mines Diggin’ in my own backyard.

You may shoot me with your words, You may cut me with your eyes, You may kill me with your hatefulness, But still, like air, I’ll rise.

Does my sexiness upset you? Does it come as a surprise That I dance like I’ve got diamonds At the meeting of my thighs? ...

I rise I rise I rise. Maya Angelou, 1928 - 2014

Mar. 16, 2016 - 07:33AM JST Because she's gaijin.

Amen Sensei258. Could not have been anymore correct, oh and she is a woman too... So in Japanese eyes they would be the 2 lowest things in the world... Gaijin and Woman.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Maybe when she comes back she'll have a new mature image. Her old act was getting old anyway.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Japan IS sexist.

Correct sentence- Many people and institutions in Japan are sexist. Calling an entire population of 120 million or more as sexist is discrimination which is no better than someone being sexist. Not one time did I say sexism was a good thing or that we should sweep it under the rug. Stereotyping an entire population as one is your thing, not mine.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

She is not that talented and could not make it anywhere else in the world. It is because she is Gaijin that she is so popular. And yes Japan is still a sexist society........and very unforgiving.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Leaving aside the question of whether her absence from the pantheon of "famous for being famous" no-talent Japanese TV celebs will be missed, one still has to ask "Would a male celebrity in her position have suffered a similar fate?" No way. Japanese society's attitudes toward women and gender equality are on display on TV everyday, and have changed little since the Showa era.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

house arrest? self-imposed or just shame? or maybe it's this sicko yakuza entertainment industry that uses you like a slave?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Japan thinks it's come so far then shows the world how far is has to go

6 ( +6 / -0 )

The industry will make her suffer a little longer, and then they'll bring her back. There's too much money out there for them not to "pimp" her out. The hypocrisy is sickening. I bet the executives that pull the strings have had their fair share of infidelities...and Becky isn't even the married one.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

It is absurd and male chauvinist ! Bekki stays at home and Kawatani goes around the world !

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Because she's gaijin

If this were the case, she would live her life proudly and point two middle fingers at Japanese society and its habit of bullying/shaming women for having the gall to do so.

Not gaijin, at least not when it comes to socialized behavior. Very Japanese of her to play along with the shame game.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

But she MUST play the "shame game" for her to eventually accepted again. A little bit of shame, a tearful heartfelt apology to her fans and his wife, then back on the gravy train.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Seems to me people should be less concerned with who's doing what to whom and a bit more concerned with how the media has 'access' to people's private communications.

I believe the wife was the one that leaked things.

I reckon all the women who are cheating on their husbands think she's a right cow for sleeping with another woman's husband. See, I reckon they're nasty because their husbands are cheating and someone like Becky is just the person they can take their anger out on because they can't get angry at their ATM.

Calling an entire population of 120 million or more as sexist is discrimination which is no better than someone being sexist. Not one time did I say sexism was a good thing or that we should sweep it under the rug. Stereotyping an entire population as one is your thing, not mine. Yawn. I call it how I see it. If you'd like to defend Japan and it's sexism by all means feel free but as a nation it is ranked 101 in the world. I think someone can call Japan sexist without everyone getting their panties in a twist and taking it personally.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

And the guy who was married and cheated on his wife was not persecuted, ridiculed and is still business as usual. I don't care if Becky was a TV Icon, the one who is wrong here as not Becky but the guy..

Seriously, Becky didn't knew that the guy was married, he only admitted he was married when the scandal appeared and everyone blames Becky, because she is the woman. A clear evidence that sexism is abundant in Japan. If they want to be fair, persecute the guy as well and not focus on Becky..

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

I've been thinking that Becky is very amiable and likable. I will take sides with her, no matter what happens. Keep your chin up, Becky!

3 ( +4 / -1 )

If I was her I would take a long vacation from this crap. No way in the world would I Iet such stupidity from the outside world ruin my life. I'd cheer her up if I could....no one deserve such treatment......

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I think I saw her on TV two days ago, maybe it was a re run, but she was a guest, seemed a bit depressed and out of character, just a filler more or less that got ignored on some cooking show

If I were her parents, Id be considering helping her get a career out of Japan. Maybe she will come back in less attractive roles, but who wants that? Japanese and their caste system, Id tell them to shove it but Im not a halfu. Guess she could join us bottom feeder gaijin, some role in clown eikawia.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

She will be back! She has a lot of fans that support her!

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

I've been thinking that Becky is very amiable and likable. I will take sides with her, no matter what happens. Keep your chin up, Becky!

That was her TV image, which is why she has nothing left now that she was proven to be a fake.

No way in the world would I Iet such stupidity from the outside world ruin my life

The "outside world" is what made her in the first place. They held the cards and therefore dropped her when she screwed it up. I would also expect to be fired from my company if I had an affair with a married woman and they found out about it.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Becky and bf are continuing e-mailing when, the wife saw the message she was hurt, and send the messages on public, that Becky's admitting her fault and ruin her carrer, the fact is. It was all Becky's fault she know the guy was married, but still continuing the flirting, and talking about the marriage. I don't think she can go back smoothly or just like a normal. This issue was like the girl on Morning musume member, found her cheating inside thier house and husband caught her personally on bed with other guy. After a year of public apology still she can't work normal people still judging her.
