I can see how Beyonce would be up there, but Lebron James? Is this really a "world" ranking?

I had to google his name when I read this article. Never heard of him.

I'm surprised that Cristiano Ronaldo is not on this list. Not only does he have probably the biggest salary in soccer (around 21 million Euros per year), but is also a major spokesperson for a number of companies, too. The fact he speaks English fluently (after all, he played in the English Premier League for several years) makes him a really viable international endorsement celebrity.

No AKB? Girls Aloud? and what about Rolf Harris? He has had way more column inches than Beyonce recently. Plus the Beyonce/Jay Z crew is lame. and where are Kimye?

Could this "world" ranking be similar in import to the "world" series in American Major League baseball?

These lists are all ridiculous anyway. Just the media making up stuff for their own profit.

They could rename it to the "Top 10 most sick-to-death-of-hearing-about" list, really.

No. He wouldn't recognise me because I'm not famous. Same as he isn't famous to me. And I doubt either of us would care either way.
