I loved the hotel movie, but Birdman although solid throughout, ended without resolving things.

I'm intendingh to catch at least two of these on Saturday. Probably "Imitation Game" and "American Sniper". Great thing about living in the states -- you can actually see the movies before the awards shows.

Budapest was great. Fantastic cinematography. Birdman looks great too, cant wait to see it. I heard great things about American sniper as well. oh Japan, why cant you import movies faster :(

Boyhood is the best American film in a generation. For that reason I expect it to lose. I might even be a little disappointed if it wins. I wouldn't want the Oscars to break its tradition of ignoring genius.

Michael Keaton, who was rewarded with a best-actor nod for his performance as a washed-up star trying to mount a serious Broadway play in “Birdman.”

Didn't Keaton star Batman years ago?

By the way, that picture of a scene from Birdman above was the last scene. That is why it does not resolve itself.
