Ahh, the emerging middle class in Beijing eager for some live performances and a little american culture. In addition, they ought to consider opening a "House of Blues". Depending on which artists can get booked, those venues have great vibes. Heck, even on weekday's they're jumpin'-

The least appealing thing about the original Blue Note is the food. Not that it is bad, but it is not great - and they charge an excessive price for it as well.

I love House Of Blues too but they wouldn't be able to get the hot young artists because China is conservative about dress and language of artists.

LoL, yes & after an evening at HOB or Blue Note, won't be any after parties. Drinking till dawn at a nice pad with the cool crowd and calling in "sick" to work @ 7am.
